This holds true with one of my most recent Boot Campers, Rich Herrmann .
We had connected in late August '22 on a coaching call and we hit it off immediately.
We stayed in touch and he decided to take the plunge into my final 3-Week Boot Camp of November 2022.

Coming into the Camp, one of my main roadblocks was not embracing who I was and why I created art.
Learning how to understand and explain those two things really helped me move forward.
Scotty has an amazing way of breaking concepts down with concrete examples that we can all relate to. He is dynamic, engaging, knowledgeable, and funny.
That's a powerful combination to deliver important life messages!
My biggest lightbulb moment during the session was understanding that trying to please people with art is a no-win situation.
Scotty brought out the fact that being selfish in a good way (creating art from your heart and interacting with others in healthy ways), is the way to go.
Following trends and pleasing people is a dead-end road.
Besides Scotty's overviews and the way he explains things, I really liked the breakout sessions and listening to others in the class with issues similar to mine. It was eye-opening and very warm-hearted to engage with everyone. Lots of fun.
To be honest, my least favorite part was waiting for the next call!
Seriously, each session was amazing.
Despite there being calls on Saturday, Tuesday, and Friday, it felt like a long time between each one—which I guess is a good thing!
Keep doing what you're doing Scotty...
Being specific, giving us examples, relating real-world situations to what we are learning about...
All the real self-searching stuff that makes this boot camp worthwhile and valuable.
